This place has been disgusting for years. I don't know how it was never closed for health code violations. They have new ownership now, and thankfully, they have cleaned up some of the store. However, it still needs a lot of work done to make it a nice place to shop. I go there only if I'm desperate because I am so grossed out by the place. It's old and needs updating. The produce is always looking a little less than fresh. The freezer section has major issues. The freezers must thaw and refeeze constantly because there are icicles and layers of frost on everything. Bags of frozen food are in solid chunks because of being thawed and frozen. Therefore, the quality has diminished, and things become freezer burnt. The frozen vegetables and bagged potatoes are the worst sections. Dairy and meat is sometimes expired. Also, they do not put "sell by" dates on items that don't have dates from the manufacturer already. Like sausage patties and links, certain bread items, pastries, and some deli items do not have "sell buy" dates! How do they know how long it's been sitting there, and how do I know? Their prices are also very high compared to other stores. Sometimes twice as much as I'd pay elsewhere.
It a great little store if you need to pick up some things on your way home or just don't want to fighting the crowds at a bigger store. It's a little more expensive but u don't have to drive as far as the other stores. It's clean and they widened the aisles. Everyone in the store is very friendly. I would definitely recommend stopping in.

The only good thing about the store is the employees. They are extremely nice. As far as the prices go... Way to high(even for a small town store). The produce... Usually it's not fresh. The store.. looks run down. And you have to keep A VERY close eye on the expiration dates on EVERYTHING they sell.
Commendable neighborhood grocery store with a fine selection of meat and an affable, considerate staff. My experience there was made more pleasant by the customer behind me in line paying for my non-food item.
