Would give them zero stars if I could. Went in to get details on trees. My 3year old son went over to what we thought were wooden toys. At which point some lady pushes him aside and tells at him "don't touch those they are not toys a 90 year old lady painted those!" Then she proceeded up to whoever was at the counter and told them they needed to put a bigger sign on them so kids didn't play with them. I'm gonna say whoever the manager was knew they were at fault since they gave my son one of the painted toys. This whole incident had my wife close to tears. Hopefully the owners read this and find a way to reach out to me. On Monday I will be making some phone calls in if they don't want to resolve the issue I will get it resolved. You don't put your hands on people children. Especially if you are going to call your establishment family friendly.
Had a great time, large tree selection, overall very nice experience. 4 stars because it's honestly fairly confusing as to what to do when you arrive, get a saw, pick a tree, haul back, get it wrapped in netting, pay, and pickup. They have a good process for all that, they just need to explain it. Great place
We visited on the Friday afternoon, The day after Thanksgiving 2017. We were very disappointed this year. We have been several years in the past and it seems like each year the service and tree quality keep falling off while the prices keep going up. We will definitely be going somewhere else next year.
Absolutely a blast! Our trees have always been beautiful and healthy and our kids just love the hot coco and popcorn afterwards :) such a fun tradition and a great memory to make each year! People who work there have always been kind, like family. Highly recommend!
I was extremely disappointed in Piney Acres this year. We have been going for 5 years and never received this type of service. The tree was drilled incorrectly for the stand we purchased and when I called to discuss I did not receive a call back. I called again and spoke to the owner who was rude to me. After having to buy a new tree stand and a saw to fix their mistake, I will never go back there. I guess when you become so popular, you don’t need to be nice anymore. Merry Christmas Piney Acres!
