We have been part of New Life Christian Fellowship for about four years. For our family, it has been a wonderful church home. Nearly everyone seems to be just "real". Nobody has to act perfect, just be who you are. It's a place where young kids can be in the worship and accepted (if that's what you want to do - there are also great teachers available for them during worship times). We feel Christ's love here and have been blessed to be part of the church.
Me and my family were invited to this church by some friends who attend New Life regularly. It wasn't the church that left me disappointed. In fact, the people there are very kind and wonderful to be around! It was the head pastor Mark Adcock. I don't want this to be more embarrassing, because a few people that attend New Life know me, so I'm remaining anonymous. Mark seemed annoyed and unfriendly towards me when talking to him on several occasions; almost like he was thinking in his head "I don't care about this person, I don't want to talk to this person, I must be the one talking not them!" After talking to several people who attend New Life, I was convinced that it was not something wrong with me, but it is the way that a lot of people get treated by the pastor. I understand a pastor will never be perfect. None of us our, we all sin and fall short. My experience just left me shocked and disappointed. My prayers will be with New Life in this year. God can change anybody and I forgive the pastor completely.
